Agency Structure

RTS is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status.

Board of Directors
RTS has a volunteer Board of Directors whose role is to participate with the staff in the development of the organization and its services. The Board of Directors also maintains fiscal oversight for the agency as required by law.

Permanent Paid Staff
RTS maintains a core group of permanent paid staff who are each responsible for the oversight and implementation of agency services, programs, and administrative tasks. The goal of RTS is to develop and maintain a participatory structure where we collaborate to share responsibility for decisions.

Volunteers
Volunteers are in many ways the heart of our agency; without our volunteers our services would not be possible. Trained volunteers provide a variety of services including counseling and information and referrals on the hotline. Volunteers educate the community and participate in many aspects of Rape Trauma Services. Volunteers participate in 60 to 80 hours of state-certified training prior to working with survivors of sexual abuse/assault.
