Professional Training

A survivor of sexual violence comes into contact with many professionals in her or his process of healing. Medical, law enforcement, legal, and social service personnel are all in positions to support survivor healing, but many have no training in working with sexual assault trauma. RTS hopes to address this issue by training other professionals on the impact of sexual abuse trauma on victims, helping them to be empathetic to the survivor and increasing their ability to do their jobs more effectively.
