Sexual assault continues as an epidemic in our society. In the U.S. an estimated 302,100 women and 92,700 men are forcibly raped each year. Sexual assault and abuse cross all boundaries of culture, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, ability, gender, or material privilege. Forcible rape is one among many other forms of sexual abuse which cause hurt and require healing.
